Leading Your International School is the first in a planned series of guidance books for international schools and their leaders, offering a unique perspective into the world of international education and practical advice on how to enhance your leadership skills.
Written by André Double and Warren Cook and edited by Chris Nash, the book is the result of thousands of hours of collaboration with school leaders - including first-hand accounts of how school visions are developed, agreed upon, and implemented. It also delves into the critical role that Human Resource Management plays in our agile schools, as well as the importance of building a strong international school culture and the practical steps needed for doing so.
Each month, we release a podcast episode on our website. Vikas Pahwa, LYIS podcast host, who has over 20 years of experience in education, will be hosting and sharing valuable insights. Our podcast features interviews with renowned international school leaders, education experts, and authors, as well as discussions on a wide range of topics analysed in the book. Topics such as building a string school culture, developing and implementing school visions, the role of technology in education, and much more. Guests share their experiences, insights, and advice on leadership, going listener a unique perspective into the world of international education. We also share practical tips and strategies that school leaders can apply in their own schools.
